Skewed Reviews and Biased Blog Posts- DVDdropship.com’s Dubious Online Practices

A lot of people have tried to research dvddropship.com before signing up. With so many scams and swindlers in the industry today, retailers need to do their research before handing over their money to anyone, whether they are a dropshipper or a wholesaler. So why have so many people who have done their research, still been conned by scammers such as these?

As this write-up (http://www.dropshipcomplaints.com/dvddropship-scam) clearly states, the fault is not with the researcher but with the research. DVDdropship has been consistently spamming the internet with false reviews and write-ups which they have commissioned other writers to create! What kind of company would stoop to such utterly disgraceful levels? Obviously, only a company which is trying its best to drown out negative reviews about its miserable service, will behave in this manner.

Too Good to be True is Bad News

If any information is too good to be true, then beware; this can have bad consequences. This seems to be the case with people who have tried to research dvddropship. In most cases, people have found large clusters of overwhelmingly positive reviews. These seem to be written by people who can’t even find a single thing wrong with the company! Often written by anonymous people on free blogs and directories, these write-ups and reviews are fabricated testimonials of the company.

These alleged reviews are actually commissioned by the owners of the site. They have hired a team of writers to cook up these reviews that will enable them to drown out the rising tide of negative reviews that have been emerging about the company. However, the dubious online tactics that this company uses, doesn’t stop there.

They even own their own online forum. A number of people use these forums to get truly unbiased user reviews. They trust that these forums will have reliable information that isn’t skewed in any way. DVDdropship exploited this trust by not only creating their own forum, but policing it as well. Any negative comments about their illegal activities are closed out and removed immediately.

To make matters worse, they actually interact with forum users under the company name. Whoever is behind the name has often resorted to mocking people who raise complaints about their misdeeds. They have also bullied and spoken in extremely arrogant manner to people. Retailers would do well to think hard if this is the kind of company that they want to do business with.

Fraudulent Product Reviews

Writing false product reviews and policing their own forum is bad enough but dvddropship has even stooped to writing their own product testimonials and using stolen pictures from the internet to make these testimonials seem legitimate! This is no secret - the company was exposed by a very popular blogger who discovered that they had used one of her pictures in their false testimonials!

Such shady online practices point to a company that is committed to doing a lot of covering-up. What do they have to hide? If your company was really legitimate and reliable, why resort to dishonest behaviour and lying? Most important of all, can a retailer trust a company that behaves in this manner? DVDdropship cannot be trusted in any way and it’s best for retailers to take their business elsewhere.
